Richard Eades
Richard joined RPS Risk Management in July 2007 after achieving a 2:1 M.Eng Chemical Engineering (Hons) degree from the University of Birmingham.
“The most enjoyable aspects of working for RPS Risk Management are being able to work for clients in a wide variety of sectors from petrochemical to nuclear, manufacturing to defence, and fulfilling a role where one day is rarely the same as the next.
Through on-site project work and liaison with clients, as well as involvement in a great number of challenging situations, I am constantly developing my skills as a consultant. I have gained the confidence to work face to face with clients, and have successfully completed a number of rewarding projects, drawing on knowledge from my degree as well as knowledge gained by experience, some of which no degree could ever prepare you for!
Future plans are to gain Chartered status (something which I am currently working towards) and further develop my skills as a consultant. One day, I hope to specialise in a particular area of Risk Management to provide specialist support to clients, but for now, I am thoroughly enjoying the diverse and exciting opportunities available within RPS.”
